Riverview Fun Day

Promoting Mental Health Awareness

The service users and staff here in EVE Riverview are hosting a fun day in Marley park Wednesday, May 29th in support of the National Green Ribbon Campaign. See Change, the National Stigma Reduction Partnership and its 80 partner organisations are rolling out a month long awareness campaign to get people talking openly about mental health problems in May 2013. For more information on this, click here http://www.greenribbon.ie/

Everyone has been very busy in Riverview over the past number of weeks preparing for this event, creating large green ribbons, designing teeshirts for distribution, organising games, whilst consulting with relevant agencies such as Marley Park, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Parks Department & the State Claims Agency. They couldn't manage to track down the people who can organise some sunshine for them, but fingers crossed this won't be a problem.

The service users and staff would be most grateful if you would show your support & join them in what hopefully will be a fun event, if even just for a short time!

A picnic of sandwiches & light refreshments will also be available, so hopefully Riverview will see you all there!!!
