Living Well: Working Well

Making Every Contact Count

The core aim of Making Every Contact Count is chronic disease prevention.

The four main lifestyle risk factors for chronic disease; tobacco use, harmful alcohol consumption, physical inactivity and unhealthy eating, are the health behaviours which will be the focus at the outset.

The vision for Making Every Contact Count is that health behaviour change interventions will become part of routine clinical care delivered by health professionals in the health service.

Through a combination of HSE’s campaigns including MECC, we hope to articulate a way of working that is complimentary to the recovery values EVE have prioritised to date.
