EVE Plantmarket Vocational Training Centre have recently linked in with the Sports Development Office in Fingal County Council as part of the “Active Living” initiative under their Health Ireland Action Plan.
Two of the Council’s Sports Development Officers, Owen & Claire have kindly offered to come out to the training centre and do some sessions with the Trainees & Staff throughout February & March. So far they have had two sessions and the response has been fantastic.
Claire covered the Benefits of Exercise, Yoga, Strength Exercises and Meditation in the first session and Owen met the Plantmarket group in the community to show them how to use the Outdoor Gym Equipment at the Sports Hub in Lusk for their second session.
Plantmarket are really looking forward to the upcoming sessions and continuing to foster the great links they have made with Owen & Claire and the team at Fingal County Council’s Education & Training Department.
